Count Down to Race

R ace week is here and we're counting down the days for our run. Three days precisely for the 13.1 mile run in lovely Napa to Sonoma. Believe it or not, last week was not a good week. Ate something my tummie couldn't take and lasted just about end of last weekend. I did not run. I did not update my blog yet made an effort to push onward and raise the funds required to be part of this amazing experience: Running with Team Challenge Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America . I am running the beautiful course from Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon this upcoming Sunday! I'm feel better this week and ready to embark the 13.1 course. I was required to raise $2,800 and the donations go directly to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. I raised a total of $3,019.33 ! I'm excited about this weekend but I couldn't of made it without your support and contribuiton to a great cause. I do pray we find a cure for those who are affected by the Crohn's

As a runner, you have to listen to your body. I pace myself and never rush into things. However, today my left foot felt a bit strained. I'm currently icing it, using a ball to stretch out the muscles. The countdown begins now! I'm less than four weeks away running the half-marathon in lovely Napa to Sonoma areas. Like I said before, I have never run in this area (Big Sur is one of my favorite areas) but have thought about it for a very long time. The time has come now to accomplish that
